LED Clamplight

Love this little light. Small enough to handle easily, or to store easily. The beam of light is far better than most standard flashlights. Versatile in its ability to be turned to aim the light and with its ability to stand on its own. Liked it so much, I bought another and may even buy a couple more for gifts.

Nice flashlight. Practical articulating design for positioning the beam. The only thing that should be improved is they should include the required (3) three AAA batteries which would make it a better value.

I bought several of these. One for my husband and also my 5 yr old son. My husband does wheel repair and works after it gets dark sometimes. This is perfect for him. My 5 yr old keeps his at his bed to look for things under the bed etc. We also camp and this is perfect for that. LOVE THIS.

One of the best flashlights ever. I have been using this to help me change headlight bulbs in the car, manage cables at the back of my office desk, install TV set on top of the fireplace.. etc it's so cool and convenient that this can stand on its own, pivot the head or clip on to something and aim it to your liking. The light is right and direct. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a helping hand with a flashlight spot.

I have had this flashlight for about a year. I replaced a Ryobi rechargeable that kept blowing the bulb every time I knocked it over. This flashlight has been dropped from the attic; no problem. It's not the brightest flashlight I've owned, but works fine for normal tasks.

Great light. I use it as a work light, and it's bright, that's good. The clamp could be a little stronger, since the light sometimes slips when clamped at a right angle. Also the beam could be a little wider.

The bulb died after its first real/extended use. Unit does not appear to be designed with bulb replacement in mind.

This flashlight is super. It's versatility is great . It can be positioned in number of ways by way of the little feet or clamped to something. The light beam it puts is very strong. Equal to the beam produced by my Maglite 3D flashlight using only 3 aaa batteries. It feels slightly flimsy being constructed of thin plastic. Time will tell as to it's viability .

This is the second one of these I have purchased. These things are great. Light weight, easy to use, and so bright its incredible. You can clamp them in place or make them stand up. The head bends and swivels. Good quality. Would be great for camping, hiking, leave it in the car or use around the house. Every body needs at least one of these. I love these things.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas after he showed interest during a commercial. He was very pleased to see how well the light worked. We just endured a five plus day power outage. Our clamplight had gone MIA, and we were using standard LED flashlights. We located the clamplight, and it was a 100% difference. It is nice and bright, and when aimed at the ceiling, illuminated the room comfortably enough to move easily about. When out power came back on, I immediately ordered another clamplight....this time for ME. It won't go into hiding again, I will know right where it is when the power goes out. It is a GREAT tool.

Nice clamp and flashlight head rotation/aiming ability. Light is fairly strong. Good concept in a flashlight. Handy for many tasks where you need a light to hold itself. Improvements in the flashlight head would include a brighter beam and a beam focus. If you are looking for a flashlight that can hold itself and be aimed but don't need extreme brightness and focus; this is it!

I bought it because I only have one hand and thought it was perfect for me. I had it outside and drop in and it wont even turn on now. less than 6 months old!!!! yes battery is good, but cant check bulb.

Great light mostly because of clamp function, and pretty good light beam range of motion, which could be better IMO, but still great light, that I'm glad to have.

I bought the first one at a hardware store and when I went back a couple of months later to buy another one they no longer carried it. So I was very happy to see Amazon carried it. As for the product itself I love this flashlight the beam is very bright, the ability to stand the flashlight or clamp on to a pipe and adjust the angle light is very useful for the projects I have done around the house.

Of all the things my husband got for Christmas, this one seemed to capture his attention the most. It was in his stocking. He took it out and started to play with it right away. He especially likes the way he can clamp to his shirt or spread the feet on it and have it stand alone on the floor and the swivel head can be directed at any angle he desires. It's become his favorite flashlight. Who knew that the little item would be the big hit?

I would buy these again. The hold up anywhere and give great light.

I gave this to my husband as one of his many Christmas gifts on account of I'm generous and a wonderful wife. He loves it. It's SO bright. I know this because when he flashed it in my face and yelled "Freeze!" I was almost blinded. That's a great testimonial. Then, he went outside to see how far it would shine. I was worried a plane would land in our yard, that's how bright this thing is. Also, he gets a kick out of how it stands on its own. We're simple people, you see.

My dad loves this! He works in construction and goes through flashlights left and right. He's the kind of guy that likes the latest gadget so this was perfect. This is great when he can't hold the light himself, he clips it somewhere and positions the light and keeps working. Or he can set the clamp in the open position and set it somewhere. My only complaint is that you can't change the bulb, but it's supposed to last for a very long time, so it's a possibility he may never need to it would would just be nice to have the option.

I bought this for my boyfriend who wrenches my '77 Vette and his '84 Porsche 928 as well as cars we've owned in the past. He LOVES it. He says it is perfect for shining an intense beam of light on an area with just enough light around the beam to light up the surrounding area with a more diffused light as well. He appreciates that the clamp allows him to position the light to access places he would not be able to see otherwise with other lights.

We have also put one in each of out vehicles, including utv and atv's. we made car kits for our grand kids, when the got their first cars and this was the first item in the kit. my family hunts and it is great for getting in and out of our stands in the dark

This light is so useful, there's almost an infinite variety of things you can use it for. For instance, we clipped this to the back of my dad's horse carriage one night, and positioned it to shine on the sign affixed to the back of his carriage. IT was bright enough that you could read the sign form many yards away, and the clamps were firm enough that the light held steady through an entire evening of dad driving the horse and carriage around downtown, complete with passengers getting on and off.

But if you need a standing light, you simply re-position the clamps,and then turn into feet instead, and the flashlight will stand on any flat surface. The head rotates, and the lens rotates in a second dimension, so you can position this light in almost infinite directions. THe light is bright enough to read by, or to work on an engine or horse's harness, without any other light. THis is one of the most useful things I've purchased for under $20 in a long, long time.

I love this flashlight! My grandson was born with lots of health issues. Therefore he spends a lot of time in the hospital. I clamp this handy flashlight onto his hospital bed to take care of his medical needs, during the night. The rotating head makes it easy to quickly shine light where I need it without having to turn on the extremely bright hospital lights and disturb his sleep. I ended up buying a second one to use at my house when he spends the night. I highly recommend purchasing this flashlight!

Ordered this for my husband (after I recently found a standard flashlight duct taped to my gazebo - to illuminate the bbq). For the record, I gave him 4 MacGyver stars for creativity and use of standard household items...lol! On with the review - this flashlight is super bright and is built solid. It's already been dropped a couple of times w/out damage. The clamp is nice and strong for practical use - although I like that it looks like a little robot when you stand it up (not quite as practical)...either way, it is a great light for the price.

I bought this Blackfire Clamp Light for my Dad years ago when it first came out. He loved it so much that he asked for me to buy him a second one for his birthday this year. He uses this light everywhere! He says it's especially great when he's working in an awkward part of a car, in a dimly lit attic, in a crawl space, or anywhere where he needs some extra light and for his hands to be free to work. I considered getting the new version of this light for him but decided to repurchase the same exact one because it works so great and why mess with a good thing. This light has my Dad's stamp of approval and that's saying something because the man owns many many many flashlights.
